Tom and Patricia Van Laar
The Van Laars had lived in a number of places across the country and in Europe. They owned a home in Hilton Head, but wanted a second place in the mountains. Tom and Patricia visited a number of communities, but knew when they came to Champion Hills they had found something special.

Todd and Julie Headley
The Headleys wanted to move to Western North Carolina from Washington DC for the weather and the accessible activities in the region. When they visited Champion Hills, they knew they had found their new home because of the spectacular location, wonderful people and proximity to all that Hendersonville, Asheville and the surrounding regions have to offer.

Carol and Dirk Novosad
Carol and Dirk decided to move to Champion Hills after looking for a golf course community, but have come to find that we have so much more to offer. They also love the quiet mountain feeling, while still having access to bigger cities.

Lynn and Stan McFarland
Lynn and Stan visited Champion Hills for a weekend and were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the residents and the beauty of community. Moving from the DC area, they were not sure they would fit in, but as Stan says, “I have more friends here in a year than I have had in my whole life.”

Joyce and Ken Joyce
The Joyces had always wanted to live in the mountains in a location with four distinct seasons. They explored communities in Western North Carolina and found Champion Hills to be the perfect location. Both Ken and Joyce are active in the tennis program at Champion Hills and have found that whatever your skill level, there are opportunities for everyone.

Michael & Marshall Johnson
When the Johnsons first drove into Champion Hills, they were “blown away” by the beauty of the community and impressed with the reasonable prices of the homes. Coming from the Northeast, they were also surprised by the friendliness of the Champion Hills members and everyone they met in the surrounding communities.

Marion & Richard Washer
The Washers were moving from Chicago and looking for a milder climate. What they found was not only a spectacular location with four seasons but also a friendly, inviting community with all the shopping, dining, arts and activities they could possibly want.

Michael & Sally Fleming
Coming to Champion Hills from Louisiana, the Flemings love the cooler summers, milder climate and all there is to do in Champion Hills and in the surrounding communities. Sally has been particularly impressed by the focus on the performing and visual arts in the area.
