About half of our 300 families live full time at Champion Hills, taking advantage of the year-round dining, fitness, activities and Fazio golf course that is ranked the #1 year-round course in Western North Carolina. They also enjoy all the arts, dining, festivals and entertainment in Hendersonville, Asheville and the surrounding communities that change with the seasons.

The other half of our residents choose to split their time between Champion Hills and a second home. However many who planned on splitting time when they purchased their property have found that the mild four-season climate in North Carolina gives them the taste of winter that they enjoy and have actually sold their second home or spend much less time there.

Hear from our residents about their experience moving to Champion Hills from other parts of the country.

Our residents are also very active and engaged people with a wide variety of interests and backgrounds. They have moved from 36 states, DC and even Europe making our community a fascinating place to live and learn from others in the community.  From artists and writers, to active and retired executives and consultants, to sportsmen and musicians, our residents make up a truly diverse community. Yet with all their varied interests, they are joined by their common love for the Champion Hills community and their desire to make this an open, welcoming place for all of our members to enjoy.
